It is the policy of Elkhart County to only accept applications for
vacant positions that we have posted.
Once an applicant has applied for a vacant position, Elkhart County maintains resumes and applications
on active status for a six-month period of time from the date on the
original application. If during that time you wish to be considered for
another posted opening with Elkhart County, you should contact us (by
telephone, e-mail or in person) and request your application be
submitted for the opening.
